ABOUT US
Digital Humanities (DH) Research Group is established in 2017 under the Multimedia Innovation Digital and Humanities (before this known as Institute of Creative Humanities & Multimedia Innovation). Our mission is to explore more potentials under the intersection of computing or digital technologies and the disciplines of the humanities. Our ways of doing scholarly activities involve collaborative, trans-disciplinary, and computationally engaged research, teaching, and publishing. A distinctive feature of DH is its cultivation of a two-way relationship between the humanities and the digital: the field both employs technology in the pursuit of humanities research and subjects technology to humanistic questioning and interrogation, often simultaneously.
DH Research Group members is consist of 11 academic staff of SMMTC that is 1 professor, 2 associate professor and 8 senior lecturer from Multimedia field.
